I am an American Fighting Man

I served 25 years in the USAF. I served because I did not want to be in the Army. I did not want to be in the Army because I did not want to be in combat. I flew 117 combat missions over Viet Nam. I did not see one enemy face to face.

The technology of war changes more rapidly than most other human efforts. There was a time when all wars were fought face to face with crude but effective weapons. These were real wars. Face to face, hand to hand, no buttons, no switches, no drones, just man to man.

Three New Images.

Two Armies




Two Armies was an experiment in combining a number of digital photos. 






Face to Face 2 is the same figures as in Face to Face.  I find the two knight figures to be the most dynamic of those in my collection.

An attempt to and a more realistic landscape.  I find it more challenging to add a natural background to my little toys.
