I am an American Fighting Man

I served 25 years in the USAF. I served because I did not want to be in the Army. I did not want to be in the Army because I did not want to be in combat. I flew 117 combat missions over Viet Nam. I did not see one enemy face to face.

The technology of war changes more rapidly than most other human efforts. There was a time when all wars were fought face to face with crude but effective weapons. These were real wars. Face to face, hand to hand, no buttons, no switches, no drones, just man to man.

The first image is my original of this subject, and I have had it printed on canvas at 16x11


This second piece is my latest version and only exists as a digital file at this time.
